We retain adult clinical records for a minimum of 8 years from the date of your last appointment, in line with health record retention guidance.
Administrative, enquiry and contact records are retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose they were collected, unless we are required to keep them for legal, regulatory, accounting or clinical safety reasons.
When records are no longer required, they are securely deleted or destroyed.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. These include secure clinical systems, access controls, named user accounts, password protection, multi-factor authentication where available, staff confidentiality requirements, staff training, supplier checks and incident reporting procedures.
Clinical information is stored in approved secure systems. We do not allow patient information to be sent through personal messaging apps or stored insecurely on personal devices.
