Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making our website and service accessible
Our commitment
ADHD Assessment UK is the trading name of Avon Medical Ltd, a CQC-registered independent healthcare provider offering private adult ADHD assessment and treatment services in England.
We are committed to making our website and services accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities, neurodivergent people and people with additional communication needs.
We aim to follow recognised accessibility good practice, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines — WCAG 2.2, Level AA where reasonably possible. WCAG 2.2 is the current W3C accessibility standard and is structured around making web content perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
What we are doing
We aim to make our website:
- clear and easy to navigate
- readable on mobile, tablet and desktop devices
- usable with keyboard navigation where possible
- structured with clear headings
- written in plain language
- accessible with suitable colour contrast
- compatible with screen readers where possible
- clear about important clinical, pricing, privacy and booking information
ADHD and neurodiversity accessibility
Because our service supports adults with ADHD, we aim to make our information:
- concise and easy to understand
- clearly structured
- broken into manageable sections
- free from unnecessary jargon
- clear about next steps
- transparent about forms, appointments, pricing and clinical limitations
Reasonable adjustments
If you need reasonable adjustments to access our service, please contact us before your appointment.
Reasonable adjustments may include:
- information in a clearer format
- extra time to complete forms
- support with understanding the patient pathway
- communication by email where appropriate
- adjustments to the appointment process where clinically safe and practical
We will consider requests on a case-by-case basis.
Known limitations
We are continuing to review and improve accessibility across our website.
Some parts of the website may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards. This may include third-party booking, payment, form, video consultation or embedded tools that we do not fully control.
Where we identify accessibility issues, we will aim to improve them where reasonably possible.
