Safeguarding Statement
Our commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our patients
Our commitment
ADHD Assessment UK is the trading name of Avon Medical Ltd, a CQC-registered independent healthcare provider offering private adult ADHD assessment and treatment services in England.
We are committed to safeguarding the welfare, dignity and wellbeing of our patients. We recognise that some adults may be at risk of abuse, neglect, exploitation or harm, and we take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously.
Scope of this statement
Our service is for adults aged 18–65. Although we do not provide children's services, we may still need to act if we become aware of a safeguarding concern involving a child, young person, dependent adult, family member or third party.
Safeguarding lead
The Registered Manager is the designated Safeguarding Lead for Avon Medical Ltd.
Clinical staff receive safeguarding training appropriate to their role. Safeguarding concerns are escalated to the Safeguarding Lead and Clinical Lead where appropriate.
Staff checks and training
All clinicians must complete appropriate pre-employment and onboarding checks before providing care through Avon Medical Ltd. This may include professional registration checks, identity checks, right-to-work checks, references, indemnity checks, safeguarding training and DBS checks where required for the role.

What we may do
If a safeguarding concern is raised, we may:

- share relevant information without consent where this is necessary to protect someone from serious harm
Information sharing

We will only share information where there is a lawful reason to do so, and we will share the minimum necessary information.
